Subprocessors
Vettika uses six vendors to run interviews: Vercel, Neon, LiveKit, Google Gemini, Resend and Polar.
About this list
These vendors handle personal data so we can run the service. For each one we give the purpose, the data and the location.
A location shows where the vendor mainly handles data for us. Vendors can use other places under their own terms. Where a vendor's documents don't let us name a place, we say that.
Vercel
Hosting.
- Purpose: hosts the app, and provides cookieless marketing analytics and speed insights on public marketing pages only, never on candidate pages.
- Data: everything that passes through the app, including account and interview data. On marketing pages, the page visited, referrer, rough location, browser and device.
- Location: United States.
Neon
Database.
- Purpose: stores the database.
- Data: account details, workspace details, interviews, transcripts, scores and the audit log.
- Location: United States (US East).
LiveKit
Voice calls. LiveKit's inference service runs speech-to-text and text-to-speech through Deepgram and Cartesia.
- Purpose: carries the call, and turns the candidate's speech into text and the interviewer's questions into speech.
- Data: the candidate's voice during the call, the interviewer's speech and the text made from them.
- Location: not fixed to one place. LiveKit routes each call by the shortest path, and its inference service isn't restricted to a region by default.
- Retention: LiveKit says its inference service is zero data retention by default, so neither LiveKit nor the model providers store or train on the audio, prompts or outputs.
Google Gemini
AI model.
- Purpose: drafts interview questions and scores transcripts.
- Data: job details for drafting. The rubric and the interview transcript for scoring.
- Location: not fixed to one place. Google's Gemini API terms don't commit to one country.
Resend
Email.
- Purpose: sends email, including team invites, sign-in messages and candidates' interview links.
- Data: recipient email address and the content of the message.
- Location: United States. Resend says stored data is held there.
Polar
Payments. Polar is the merchant of record, so it sells to you directly and card details never reach us. Polar is built on Stripe.
- Purpose: takes payment, handles sales tax and processes refunds.
- Data: the buyer's name, email address, billing details and order records.
- Location: Polar's privacy policy says data may be stored in the United States, Canada or other places outside the EEA and UK.
Changes to this list
When we add or replace a subprocessor, we update this page and change the date at the top. Customers on our data processing addendum also hear from us by email first.
