Vettika vs Hireflix

Hireflix is a one-way video interview tool with no AI scoring, while Vettika runs a voice interview and gives you an AI-scored report, so the choice comes down to whether you want to watch answers or read scored evidence.

What Hireflix is

Hireflix describes itself as focused only on asynchronous video interviews. Candidates record answers to questions you set, without an app or an account, and your team watches them. It says it doesn't use AI scoring, and that transcriptions come with every plan.

Where the two differ

Both are asynchronous and both ask everyone the same questions. The difference is what you get back. With Hireflix, a video of each answer that someone on your team watches and judges. With Vettika, a transcript scored against your rubric, with quotes for each score, and no video.

Hireflix leaves all judging to people. That's a real advantage if you don't want AI anywhere in your scoring.

When Hireflix is the better choice

Based on what Hireflix says about itself, it's likely the better fit if:

  • Seeing how a candidate presents on camera matters for the role.
  • You don't want AI scoring at all.
  • You need a ready-made connector to one of the applicant tracking systems it lists.
  • You want a vendor with a SOC 2 report today.

When Vettika fits

Vettika suits teams that have more answers than time to watch them. A report shows each candidate against the same rubric, with the quote behind every score, and candidates never have to be on camera.
