Vettika vs HireVue

HireVue is a broad enterprise hiring platform with an AI voice interviewer, video interviews and assessments, while Vettika does one thing: a voice first-round interview with a scored report for teams that want to start without a sales process.

What HireVue is

HireVue describes itself as a hiring platform for both high-volume hourly hiring and professional roles. Alongside its AI Interviewer, which it says holds a two-way voice conversation with follow-up questions, it offers one-way and live video interviews, assessments, scheduling and a co-pilot that takes notes in live interviews.

It lists connectors for the large applicant tracking systems, including Workday, SAP SuccessFactors and Oracle, and publishes material on how its AI is governed and audited.

Where the two differ

The biggest difference is scope. HireVue covers many stages of hiring. Vettika covers one: the first-round interview. Both use an AI voice interviewer and both say a person makes the decision.

HireVue lists recording among its AI Interviewer's features. Vettika keeps the transcript only. HireVue lists several languages, and Vettika is English only today.

When HireVue is the better choice

Based on what HireVue says about itself, it's likely the better fit if:

  • You want one vendor for AI interviews, one-way video, live video and assessments.
  • You hire on Workday, SuccessFactors or Oracle and want an existing connector.
  • You need interviews in languages other than English.
  • Your procurement process expects a vendor with published audits and AI governance material, which we don't have yet.

When Vettika fits

Vettika suits a smaller team or an agency that wants a structured first round running today, without a contract or a sales call. You read a report with quoted evidence for each score, and you can try it yourself before anyone else does.
